The Martin D-41 is a glorious mix of wood and pearl, nicely outfitted with Y25 redesigned Standard Series vintage appointments. It's a remarkably beautiful guitar, made more so by its complex, dark, and rich tone.
Golden Era forward shifted scalloped-braced Sitka spruce top, master-grade Indian rosewood back and sides, Style 45 hexagon fingerboard inlays and vertical C.F. Martin headstock inlay in abalone pearl. Antique white bound body, headstock, and neck, abalone pearl top border, Style 45 back strip, pearl-dot bridge pins, bone nut and saddle. Polished, bevelled edge tortoise-pattered pickguard, gold open-geared tuning machines. 25.4" scale neck, 1-3/4" wide nut, modified low oval neck carve. The neck features rolled fretboard edges for comfort, an angled bottom nut, and a long 1930s style volute; all improvements made for Martin’s Y25 2025 standard series line.
With the allure of its pearl-bound top and neck inlays, gorgeous mix of trimmings and top-grade tone woods, wonderfully comfortable neck carve and string spacing, the D-41 is a particularly alluring Martin Dreadnought.
