Martin's 00-28 features Golden Era-style braced top, gorgeous vintage-inspired features, a short scale neck with 14 frets to the body, and a comfortable 1-3/4” nut width. It's a warm and open sounding guitar with a woody voice, perfect string-to-string balance, and lots of character. Like all the models in Martin’s 2025 standard series redesign, the new 00-28 features an angled-bottom nut, 30’s style ebony belly bridge and rolled fretboard edges.
Indian rosewood back and sides, Sitka spruce top with scalloped bracing, mahogany neck with bound ebony fingerboard, 24.9” scale, 1-3/4” nut, and modified low oval carve. Antique white bindings with herringbone purflings and classic style 28 rosette, bevelled tortoise-celluloid pickguard, vintage toned high gloss lacquer finish. Old style CF Martin headstock logo, vintage style open-geared tuners, and bone nut, saddle and bridge pins.
