Originally manufactured for only a brief period in 1933, the El Trovador has experienced a renaissance thanks to its re-introduction by National Reso-Phonic Guitars about 15 years back. A faithful reproduction of the original Kay-built El Trovador, these new models have a cool 'retro' look and sound great. They feature a deeper body depth and a longer scale than other National models, which coaxes more power and focus from the resonator. This particular left-handed El Trovador is in excellent condition and plays with a comfortable fingerstyle action thanks to a set-up from our shop.
Ivoroid-bound mahogany body and ebony fingerboard, aged nickel coverplate, 'shield' National headstock logo decal, 1-3/4" nut and 25.6" scale; Soft V neck carve with 1st fret neck depth of .905”. This is a factory left-handed National, not a righty conversion.
With original hardshell case.
