Taylor 512ce Urban Ironbark
Taylor’s new 512ce Urban Ironbark features back and sides of red ironbark sourced responsibly in California through the company’s Urban Woods Initiative. This tonewood is relatively new to guitar building and offers a muscular and balanced tone that’s both sweet and complex. Paired with a torrefied Sitka top, V-Class bracing, Taylor’s Grand Concert body, and a shorter 24-7/8” scale, the 512ce Urban Ironbark offers a full-toned and sweet voice with well-developed midrange and complex treble string response.
The 512ce is a tastefully appointed guitar with understated simplicity and appealing subtlety. It features tortoise bindings and pickguard, maple purflings of varied thickness, acrylic “Aerial” inlays, pearl single-ring rosette, ebony fingerboard and bridge, ES2 pickup, and a beautiful edgeburst finish.
Comfortable and fast-playing neck with satin finish and 1-3/4” nut width.
With deluxe hardshell case
