Iris OG
Hand built in a small-shop setting in Burlington, Vermont, Iris Guitars offer exceptional tone and playability, vintage-tinged designs and unique detailing, solid tonewoods, and nitrocellulose lacquer finish.
The OG model is 00-sized guitar that’s shaped and voiced similarly to an early 50’s Gibson LG-2. Featuring a Sitka spruce top and mahogany back and sides; small rectangle bridge, a light build with scalloped tonebars, and a medium length scale, the OG is punchy and responsive with a quick attack, and a solid midrange. It’s trebles are thick an woody, which makes this model a great fingerstyle, blues, and ragtime player.
14.5” wide classical-shaped body with firestripe pickguard, ivoroid bindings and sunburst top finish. With three-on-a-plate Golden Age open geared tuners, and bold Iris headstock logo, the OG model has a vintage-meets-modern look.
Round neck with a full feeling C carve, 16” fingerboard radius, and a 1-3/4” nut width. Bone nut and saddle, 25” scale, 2-7/32” string spread at the bridge. Katalox fingerboard and bridge.
