Martin 000-28 Ambertone
We're very excited about all of Martin's redesigned models, but the 000-28 Ambertone is up there with the best of what's new. Beyond the gorgeous ambertone sunburst finish and bevelled tortoise pickguard, the herringbone trim and vintage-style appointments, the guitar features a light build with forward-shifted scalloped top bracing. Mix that with the shorter 24.9” scale length of the 000 models, and you've got one of Martin's most expressive and richly voiced guitars. The string balance is perfect of fingerstyle or flat-picking, and the modified low oval neck carve is easy and comfortable to play.
Sitka spruce top with Indian rosewood back and sides, gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish with Ambertone sunburst top, cream plastic bindings, ebony fingerboard and belly bridge, bone nut and saddle, vintage style tuners, and old-style headstock logo. 1-3/4” width at the nut, 2-5/32” string spread at the bridge.
