Martin 000C12-16E Nylon

Martin’s new 000C12-16E is a crossover classical designed to offer steel string players an entry into the nylon string world that’s more familiar and easy to play than a traditionally build classical. With its cut-away body, narrowed nut width, comfortably rounded neck carve and radiused fingerboard the guitar is much more effortless to play than a conventional classical guitar, and thanks to its on-board Fishman Matrix VT Enhance pickup system, it’s stage ready too. All that in a great looking package that harkens back to Martin’s N10 and N20 (think Willie Nelson) Classicals of the 1970s.

Gloss finished spruce top, satin-finished mahogany back and sides, ebony fingerboard and bridge, tortoiseshell plastic bindings with white and black purflings, and an attractive herringbone and tortoiseshell rosette. Gold tuners, bone nut, Fishman electronics, and old-style headstock logo. 1-7/8” nut carve, 26.4” scale.
