After a long absence from any regular production, Martin rereleased the venerable 0-18 model in 2017 and it remains a guitar that all of us here are quite excited about. The current production 0-18 is, appropriately, the sister instrument to Martin's 000-18, and 00-18 models. It features the same vintage stylings as all the other standard model style 18 instruments, as well as the very popular high-performance taper neck with a 1-3/4” nut width. This instrument is a factory left-handed build.

Sitka spruce top with scalloped X brace and straight tone bars for a little extra power, mahogany back and sides, tortoise celluloid bindings and pickguard, vintage style 18 rosette, and aging toner added to the finish. Ebony fingerboard and bridge, bone nut and saddle, vintage-style open-geared tuners and old-style headstock logo.

The 0-18 measures in at 13.5” wide at the lower bout and is fit with a short scale 24.9” neck. There’s likely not a more comfortable guitar to play in the Martin lineup – and certainly nothing that's better suited for the couch or the kitchen table.
