Martin D-16E Rosewood

Martin’s D-16 Dreadnought features a 000-depth body, making it a great choice for someone who wants the look and tonal response of a Dreadnought, but the comfort of a 000. Makes sense. There are a lot of players – both male and female – who find D-sized guitars less than comfortable to play seated, but there’s no such thing as a small guitar that sounds like dreadnought. The D-16 fixes all that. It’s a smart design, and a wonderfully playable guitar.

Rosewood back and sides, Sitka spruce top, forward-shifted scalloped X bracing. 1-3/4” nut width, 25.4” scale, 2-5/32 string spread at the bridge. Gloss top, satin back and sides. Vintage style tuners and appointments, herringbone rosette, cream bindings.

Factory fitted with a Fishman Matrix VT Enhance pickup system.
