1974 OME XXX Tenor
An early OME Triple-X Tenor banjo that has been very-well cared for throughout its life. It has a few very minor dings on the neck and resonator, but very little playwear to speak of. It is wonderfully set up, with excellent playability.
11" multi-ply maple rim with no-hole flat-head tone ring, 24 brackets, double coordinator rod, and two-piece flange. Bound Walnut 2-ring resonator, walnut neck with bound ebony fingerboard with 19 frets and pearl inlays, OME tailpiece and armrest, 5/8" bridge. Five Star planetary tuners, 1-1/8" nut, and 22-3/16” scale. Set-up in shop, the banjo plays cleanly and easily. It’s nicely bright and quite loud and is perfectly suited for flatpicking.
With original hardshell case.
