1979 Fender Precision Bass

A particularly handsome ash-bodied, natural finished Fender Precision Bass built at the tail end of the 1970s. In lovely condition, this P-bass shows almost no playwear and is complete with its original bridge and pickup covers, untouched original electronics, and original hardware. We’ve just dressed the frets and set it up with 45-100 strings, so playability is great.

The neck has a full feel and round carve, 1-5/8” nut width, and a 1st fret depth of .846”. 12th fret neck depth is .972”. The pickup DC resistance measures 10.8k, and the bass’s weight is 11.0 Lbs. All told, this is a gorgeous bass that’s all there but for a missing thumb rest.
