The Atkin ADJ-38 is a rosewood and torrefied Sitka spruce slope shouldered Jumbo that’s styled after Gibson’s Advanced Jumbo from the late 1930s. Like its inspiration, the ADJ-38 features a long scale neck, scalloped bracing, bound rosewood fretboard, small rectangle bridge, a 30s style firestripe pickguard, and pearl accents. Its tone is bold and throaty, with plenty of power in reserve, lots of headroom, and excellent note separation. This is a guitar that enjoys a heavy right hand attack and would be happy if it were set up with medium gauge strings.

The neck has a rounded C carve with a 1st fret depth of .820” and 1-11/16” nut width. 25.4” scale, 2-3/16” string spread at the saddle. Gently aged lacquer finish with fine crazing throughout, bone nut and saddle, aged Kluson tuning machines.

With deluxe hardshell case.
