2018 Gibson Memphis ES-339 Walnut
The compact ES-339 offers the sound and feel of an ES-335, but with smaller body dimensions and lighter weight. A fairly recent addition to Gibson's model lineup, the 339 has already become a modern classic.
This example is finished in a gloss walnut lacquer which is reminiscent of Gibson’s ES-335s from the 1970s. It’s in excellent condition and has just been set up here at Folkway with 11s. Apart from a few small dings and the lightest of playwear, the guitar presents as barely used.
Burstbucker 1 & 2 humbuckers with DC readings of 7.2k and 7.6k, Tune-O-Matic Bridge, Grover milk-bottle rotomatic tuners. Bound rosewood fingerboard with medium-jumbo fretwire and pearloid block inlays, single-bound body. 24.75” scale, 1-21/32” nut, 50s-feel C neck carve with a first fret depth of .828”. 6.8lbs.
