The new Y25 Martin 000-28 Ambertone is up there with the best of what's new with Martin for 2025. Beyond the gorgeous ambertone sunburst finish and bevelled tortoise pickguard, the herringbone trim and vintage-style appointments, the guitar features a light build with Golden Era forward-shifted scalloped top bracing. Mix that with the shorter 24.9” scale length of the 000 models, and you've got one of Martin's most expressive and richly voiced guitars. The string balance is perfect for fingerstyle or flat-picking, and the new GE-modified low oval neck carve is easy and comfortable to play.
Sitka spruce top with Indian rosewood back and sides, gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish with Ambertone sunburst top, aged white bindings, ebony fingerboard and 30s belly bridge, bone nut, saddle, and pins, vintage style tuners, and old-style headstock logo.
The GE modified neck features rolled fretboard edges and a longer 1930s style volute, a 1-3/4” nut width, 2-5/32” string spread at the bridge, and a 1st fret neck thickness of about .820”.
With deluxe hardshell case
Individual instruments may vary in appearance.
