It's funny to think of a relic'd guitar as being in mint condition; however, this 2024 Custom Shop Strat is as clean as the day it left the Fender factory.
Sporting a particularly attractive, lightly relic’d Tahitian Coral finish, this limited edition 2024 '57 reissue Stratocaster is an excellent modern recreation of a late 1950s Custom Color Strat. Built with period correct tone woods, this Strat features a two-piece alder body and a maple neck with a walnut plug for the truss rod cavity.
Equipped with a trio of hand wound pickups from Fender's Custom Shop wired to a 5-way switch, this Strat offers an array of vintage-inspired tones that will sound great through just about any amplifier. The Strat Texas Special bridge pickup (6.2k) delivers full-bodied and snappy tones that can be rounded off if desired with the tone knob, which is a modern twist on Strat wiring. The '57 Stratocaster pickup (5.9K) in the neck position offers a creamy and articulate voice that hits the front end of an amplifier beautifully. Thick tones with a particularly pleasant Fender quack are the signature of the Fat '50s pickup (6.1K) in the middle position, which blend perfectly with the voices of the bridge and neck pickups in the 2 and 4 switch positions.
The full and rounded soft V '57 spec neck is immensely comfortable. It has a round and deep carve with a 1st fret depth of .897" and a 12th fret depth of .988”. With light relicing on its backside, the neck offers a smooth playing experience that is quite close to that of a 70 year old Fender instrument. The neck features Fender's vintage spec 1-5/8" nut and has a 9.5" fingerboard radius and large fret wire for modern playability.
A lightweight Stratocaster at 7.5 lbs, this Custom Shop Strat is the perfect guitar for the performing musician playing multiple long sets in a night.
With original hardshell case, strap, bridge cover, and COA.
