A lovely Collings standard model OM2H that’s matured beautifully, opening and warming up over the 10+ years since it was built. It truly does everything well – from heavy flatpicking to quiet fingerstyle, and offers exceptional touch sensitivity, a strong fundamental presence, and roundness through the mids and trebles that makes everything sound richer and darker.
Sitka spruce top with scalloped braces, Indian rosewood back and sides, ebony board and bridge, and vintage style 2H appointments. 1-11/16” nut, 25.4” scale, 2-3/16” string spread at the saddle. Waverly tuners, bone nut and saddle, professionally installed K+K pickup.
The guitar is in near-mint condition with only a faint touch of string wear on the first 3 frets to speak up. Its suntanned top is about the only thing that gives away that it’s not brand new.
Set up in shop, and accompanied by its original hardshell case.
