Čapek Mandolins are hand-crafted by Rosta Čapek in The Czech Republic since 1985 and have been enjoyed by discerning mandolin players all over the world over these past four decades.
The Čapek F-5 Professional features a tonebar braced red spruce top, figured maple back, sides, and neck, ivoiroid bidings, a double-cut fretboard extension, pearl and abalone inlays and gold hardware. Sunburst lacquer finish, ebony adjustable bridge, Schaller tuners with pearloid buttons.
The fretboard has a subtle radius and modern fretwire; the nut width is 1-1/8”, and scale is 13-7/8”. The neck has a traditional U carve.
With deluxe hardshell case.
