By the early 1970s instruments branded Dobro were being manufactured by the Original Musical Instrument Company (OMI) by the Dopyera brothers, Rudy and Emil. Essentially a remake of the 1930's Model 27, the Model 60 was OMI’s best selling square neck Dobro model and are always excellent sounding guitars. Thick, shimmery trebles with full mids and a woody bass response make these excellent resonators. This example presents nicely, with a few minor nicks and scratches, a small finish touch-up of some case-wear on the bass side, and worn away finish on the back of the headstock. It’s original and well set up.

Maple laminate body, square maple neck, sunburst lacquer finish to all sides. 24.5" scale and 1-3/4" nut. Beanwood fingerboard, brass nut and open-geared tuners.

With gigbag.
