The new Custom Shop limited run Martin Custom Edition D-18 Adirondack features an Adirondack red spruce top with hand-shaped Golden Era forward-positioned scalloped bracing for classic vintage Martin D-18 tone. The guitar is otherwise a standard Y25-spec D-18, complete with its GE-Modified Low Oval neck, angled-bottom nut, 30’s profile bridge, and pre-war style appointments.
It's a remarkably good sounding guitar with classic red spruce dryness and clarity, scalloped brace headroom, and mahogany sweetness. We can only imagine how good this one will sound as it opens up if it sounds this good at the outset.
1-3/4” nut, .816” 1st fret neck depth, 2-5/32 string spread at the saddle, 25.4” saddle.
With deluxe hardshell case.
