An innovative and versatile offering from Taylor Guitars, the T5z bridges the gap between traditional acoustic and electric guitars in a compact, ergonomic, aesthetically pleasing, and overall performance-friendly package. The Taylor T5z is equipped with a unique three pickup system comprised of a concealed neck humbucker, visible bridge humbucker, and an acoustic body sensor. With a 5-way pickup selector switch and active bass and treble knobs, the T5z delivers a nearly endless combination of electric and acoustic guitar tones that can be easily blended on the fly. The Professional edition of Taylor's T5z features upgraded cosmetics and tones woods from the Classic model, neck and body binding, Silver Sprie fingerboard inlays, Shamel body, and a figured Big Leaf maple top.
A lightly used guitar built in 2018, this T5z Pro presents in near-new condition. Very faint fretwear in the first position and a handful of surface scratches in the finish are the only evidence to this T5z having been played at all. With a stunning light tobacco burst finish over a particularly figured and well-bookmatched maple top, this T5z presents beautifully.
With its medium C neck carve, excellent fret work, and a fresh set-up by Folkway's repair team, this T5z offers a truly effortless playing experience.
