2009 Gibson EDS-1275

Gibson’s first Electric Double Neck guitars show up in shipping records in 1958 and trickled through production until the mid 1970s when demand for the electric 6/12 double neck skyrocketed, thanks to Zeppelin’s ‘Stairway to Heaven’, and The Eagle’s ‘Hotel California’, almost exclusively. The rest is history.

This Gibson Custom Shop EDS-1275 carries on the torch, and features 6 and 12 string necks, two sets of Classic 57 humbuckers, 18 Kluson tuners, and exponentially more sonic fun that one should be allowed to have. It’s in mint condition, shows no playwear, and has just been lovingly set up in our shop (setting one of these up takes about a half a day!).

The neck measurements for both necks are the same, with each having a depth of .83” at the 1st fret and a depth of .99” at the 12th, 1-21/32 nut width, and 24.75” scale. Both neck pickups measure 7.8k and both bridge pickups measure 8.1k. The guitar weighs 11.3 lbs (which is lighter than many 1970’s single-neck Les Pauls!).

With original hardshell case, Custom-Shop COA, and Gibson warranty paperwork.

Please note that oversized shipping charges will apply to this guitar
