2022 National Style O 12-fret
The Style O has been making music and other noises with some of the most iconic musicians the world has seen and heard over the last 90 or so years. And it's still going strong. The modern Style O, built in southern California by National Resophonic, marries everything that was amazing about the original Style Os with everything that's better.
The body is cleanly put together of pressed thin-gauge brass, nickel-plated, and then etched with that famous Hawaiian scene. The cone is spun thinner than ever before adding more resonance, volume, and warmth; and the frets are located accurately and seated perfectly in an ebony fingerboard, ensuring tuning accuracy. Add an adjustable truss-rod, high-quality vintage-style tuners, a removable palm-rest for easier action adjustment, a compensated bridge saddle and some of the best fit and finish in the guitar making industry, and you'll quickly discover why new Nationals like this one are keeping the prices of vintage Nationals in check.
Maple neck with ivoroid bound ebony fingerboard, soft V carve, 25" scale, and 1.13/16" nutwidth. First fret neck depth measures .907”, string spread at the saddle is 2-5/16”.
This very gently used example shows very little playtime and is still very much a mirror. It’s been set up in shop for hybrid fingerstyle / slide playing with a slinky nut action and higher action up the neck.
With deluxe hardshell case
