An exciting early “silverface" amplifier, this 1969 Fender Princeton Reverb is a remarkably good sounding example of this fabulously popular model.
This amp is largely original, with the exception of some replaced capacitors as part of general servicing, a replaced reverb tank, and a Weber Classic Alnico 10" speaker. All transformers are dated to 1969, and the circuit is unmodified. The amp sports an array of vintage and modern tubes, all of which are in good working order. A green jewel has been installed in place of the original red one; it looks cool.
Recently serviced by Dom Tantalo, this amplifier is stage and studio ready, delivering excellent and reliable performance. Don’t let its gig-worn appearance fool you, this amp is ready to hit the road again with a full tank.
With the same AA1174 circuit as a Mid 1960s Fender Princeton Reverb, the Silverface versions from the late 1960s and early 1970s offer huge value.
