2002 D'Aquisto New Yorker
A meticulously crafted Japanese-made D'Aquisto New Yorker. The guitar features a 17” cutaway archtop body with multi-layered ivoroid bindings, ebony fittings, and neck-mounted humbucking pickup with pickguard mounted controls. Solid sitka top with tone-bar bracing, laminate figured maple back and sides. Maple neck with ebony front and back headstock overlays and gold tuners, bound ebony fingerboard, pearl inlays, and 25.5” scale. Rounded medium C neck carve with nut width of 1-11/16”.
The guitar is in mint condition and has been carefully set-up here at Folkway. It's a particularly great sounding guitar, and especially so when its pricing is factored into the equation. Both acoustically and amplified this guitar is deceptively affordable.
With deluxe hardshell case
