Iris Guitars

Founded in 2018 by luthiers Adam Buchwald and Dale Fairbanks, the Iris Guitar Company specializes in handcrafting acoustic guitars that capture the soul of the great instruments built in the first half of the last century.  The Burlington, Vermont based team of luthiers are focused on marrying vintage-inspired tone with modern reliability and builds new guitars with old-soul character. By opting for simple but attractive aesthetics Iris streamlines its production process to offer professional-grade, American-made instruments at a more attainable price point than most.  Every Iris guitar is designed to be a rugged, responsive workhorse that honors the legacy of Depression-era flattops while serving the needs of the everyday player.
