With ebony black gloss lacquer finish, black accents and shiny nickel hardware, this Memphis Custom Shop ES-339 offers some serious style to match its tone. The 339 quickly became a favorite in the semi-hollow Gibson line after its introduction in 2007 thanks to its small size and fabulous 335-meets-Les Paul tone. The Gibson Classic ’57 Pickups are a perfect match to the body design. <br/><br/>
This example is in excellent condition and has been set up here at Folkway. Playability is excellent, with frets that show almost no wear. No repairs or modifications. <br/><br/>
Modern Gibson neck carve with a rounded D profile, 1-11/16” nut, and a first fret depth of .860”, Kluson tuners, 24.75” scale, bound rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays. The pickup DC values measure 7.6k (neck) and 7.7k (bridge).<br/><br/>

The Gibson J-45 True Vintage features a red spruce top with 1940’s style scalloped braces and hide glue construction. The guitar is very lightly built and features a thin nitrocellulose sunburst lacquer finish that’s hand rubbed to a low-lustre vintage sheen. Gibson ‘Banner’ headstock logo, vintage open-geared Kluson style tuners, bone nut and saddle, and small tortoise-style pickguard. The neck has a rounded 1950’s shape and a nut width of 1-23/32”, 24.75” scale and 2-3/16” string spread at the bridge.
A very fine sounding Gibson J-45 True Vintage with classic early post-war tone. Warm, a little bit thumpy, a little bit bright, and all-around very sweet, the J-45 TV does what we all want our Gibsons to do. It’s right at home strumming songs and playing back-up to your voice; or throw some single-note runs at it and surprise your Martin-playing friends with its fullness and punch.
In excellent condition with a fresh Folkway set-up.

About this 2016 Martin 000-28 Ambertone
This strikingly attractive Martin 000-28 Ambertone features the company’s very popular C-shaped neck carve with 1-11/16” nut of days gone by, 24.9” scale, and modern 2-1/8” string spread. Martin revamped all of their model specs at the end of 2016, and modern 000-28s feature entirely different neck geometry.
This 000-28 Ambertone has been upgraded with Gotoh SX510 vintage style tuners, Antique Acoustics bridge pins, a Schatten Design bridge plate, transducing pickup with soundhole mounted volume and tone controls, and a compensated bone saddle. There are strap buttons added into the neck heel and the endgraft, above the endpin jack.
The guitar remains in excellent condition and shows very little playwear to the finish and frets. There is a factory-repaired top center-seam that was well hidden when the guitar was new, but 8 years on has become slightly visible over 2” near the endblock. The binding has been cleanly reglued along 3 waist sections, and the set-up is comfortably adjusted for fingerstyle playing, with an action of 4-6 64ths at the 12th fret.
Indian rosewood back and sides, Sitka top with straight X bracing, white bindings and checkerboard backstrip. Gloss body finish, satin neck finish, gold foil headstock logo, bone nut.
With original hardshell case

Produced in limited numbers in 2021 and 2022, Suhr’s Standard Legacy is a tribute to the first guitar that John Suhr built back in 1984. That instrument was the precursor to the legendary Pensa-Suhr MK1 guitar built for Mark Knopfler.
This model features an African Okoume body with a beautifully figured maple top, maple neck, and Indian rosewood fingerboard. The rich Trans Caramel finish, white pickup covers, and gold hardware are reminiscent of Knopfler’s MK1 Pensa-Suhr.
The stainless steel frets paired with impeccable fretwork make this guitar play incredibly well, offering immediate response and touch sensitivity across the fingerboard. Equipped with an EMG 85 humbucker in the bridge position and a pair of EMG SA single coils in the middle and neck, this guitar provides the player with enough tonal options to cover just about anything that one could throw at it.
25-1/12″ scale length, 1-5/8″ nut width, 0.790″ neck depth at the 1st fret and 0.881″ at the 12th, 7lbs 13oz.
The guitar is in as-new condition and has been carefully set-up and play-tested by our resident lefty.

Probably the best sounding squareneck Dobro in our collective memory here at Folkway, this Paul Beard Legacy E is a stunningly good sounding guitar (dare I say beguiling?!). Its voice is pure, open, balanced, clean, warm, and bold. It’s got the cut you’ll need when you’re taking a lead break in a bluegrass band, and it’s got the warmth and soul you’ll want when playing solo or in a musically spacious environment. In short, it’s great.
An open-body squareneck with a solid figured maple body and neck, maple bindings with black/white/black purflings, maple-bound ebony fretboard, Beard Legend cone and Original #14 Spider, chromed coverplate, tailpiece, and soundhole rings, chrome Gotoh 510 tuners, and high-gloss amber sunburst finish. Factory installed Fishman Nashville pickup.
String spread at the nut is 1-3/4” (nut width is 1-7/8”). String spread at the bridge is 2-5/16”. Scale length is 25”.
In as-new condition with no playwear and barely a fingerprint.
