1948 Martin 0-15
While in our shop we glued a minor side crack near the bass-side waist, and reglued loose sections of a few braces. The original frets have been dressed, and the neck angle was set to work with the guitar’s original saddle. The original ebony nut has not ever been out, the bridge has not been modified or reglued, the bridge plate is perfect, and the bridge pins and end pin are original. The top has no cracks, no playwear, and almost no pickguard cupping. The guitar’s finish is original throughout and shows considerably less than average wear. All-in-all this is a fabulously clean 40’s Martin.
The neck has a typical late 1940’s feel, with a fairly deep soft and rounded V/C carve, a nut that’s just shy of 1-11/16”, and a thickness of .895” at the first fret.
