1955 Fender Dual 6 Professional

Fender’s Dual Professional steels were first offered as dual 8 string steels in 1948, with the Dual 6 arriving on the scene in 1950. This example dates from 1955 and is completely original and in excellent condition. The control pots are dated early 1955, and the pickups read 8.2k and 8.5k. The steel was wired up by ‘Gloria’ who left her name on a strip of masking tape inside the control cavity, just like inside a tweed amp.

Some normal wear and tear on the finish, but largely quite clean. Original case and legs are included.
