1956 Supro Special Lap Steel

Serial # X67297. A cool looking student-model lap steel with that great-sounding Valco pickup unit. These Supro Specials were originally accompanied by a matching amplifier, and a lead wire was permanently dangling from the steel's side. This one's been converted with a standard ¼" output jack, and the amp is long-gone -- making it a good choice for anyone looking to get into lap steel without a huge investment. Set up in our shop, replacement Stewart-Macdonald vintage style tuning machines.
