1959 Fender Studio Deluxe

Serial # 6977. With its chrome-plated screw-in legs and slightly larger hardshell case, the Studio Deluxe was the obvious upgrade to the very popular Champ model. The steel features the same pickup and controls, plate and aesthetics as the champ, but for the leg mount on the underside. Olympic white finish, Fender decal logo, chrome-plated hardware, and single coil pickup.

This example is 100% factory original, and in excellent condition. The case and legs are in fine matching form, too. It was featured on page twenty of Fender: The Golden Age, 1946-1970, by Kelly, Kelly, and Foster.
