1959 Martin 0-18

A powerhouse of a small Martin, this 1959 0-18 has seen a lot of use over its life but remains crack-free and in excellent structural condition. It’s had its neck reset in recent years and has just been refretted and set-up in our shop.

Open, resonant, quite responsive, and fairly darkly voiced, this small-body 1959 Martin 0-18 does everything we want. The neck shape is a comfortably rounded and worn-feeling soft V with a 1st fret depth of .833” and a nutwidth of 1-11/16”. The new frets are cut from 80x40 wire.

Playworn, but in great shape, this guitar is perfect for someone who likes the vibe of a well used guitar, but doesn’t want the repair history that usually accompanies that kind of acoustic. Set up with Darco 12s and an action 5-6 64ths at the 12th fret.
