1960 Gibson Les Paul Jr

A local one-owner 1960 Gibson Les Paul Jr that’s completely original, has vibrant and unfaded dark cherry original finish, an incredible sounding P-90, and tips the scales at a scant 6.6lbs. There are no breaks or crack repairs anywhere on the guitar, no finish touch-ups, and no changed parts. Particularly light on playwear apart from a small amount of vinyl strap damage on the body’s back, a touch of fretwear showing through nicely dressed original frets, and a bit of shallow fingernail wear in the first 3 frets. Definitely among the finer of its kind, this Jr’s only flaw is a cleanly repaired chip in the nut, which itself is original and has not ever been removed.

Full width neck with 1960’s low-C carve, gorgeous dark rosewood fingerboard, 1-11/16” nut, and 24.75” scale. Neck depth at the 1st fret is .788”, and measures .885” at the 12th fret. Kluson tuners with original buttons, original hardware throughout. Very little lean to the wrap-around bridge, and none of that annoying sitar-effect. Intonation is great, set up by us with with 10s and standard action. The neck angle is good, and there is 1/8” of height adjustment in the studs. Frets play cleanly and are nearly full height. 8.3K pickup DC value.

Unfaded, 100% original, great neck angle, no repairs, and a hot P-90. Can’t really ask for a better Les Paul Jr.

With non-original hardshell case.
