1962 Silvertone 1472

The Danelectro-built Silvertone 1472 is one of the most iconic ‘off-brand’ tube combos of the 1960s. It’s television styling and incredible tone are the stuff of legend, in a Sears Catalog kind of way, and the amplifier’s 10 watts, incredible break-up, and lush tremolo have been getting everyone on staff fired up since it arrived here. The amp is in excellent condition and works perfectly, with modern AC cord and fuse wiring. Recently serviced by Toronto’s Dom Tantalo.

Original 12" Jensen C12R and transformers, 6V6 power section.
