1964 Fender Princeton

Tube Chart Dated ‘NL’ (December 1964), AA964 Circuit, Production run #1, Transformers and other electrical components dated mid/late 1964.

An early black faceplate Fender Princeton that’s in incredible condition and, with the exception of a high-end replacement speaker, changed tubes, and modern safety wiring mods, nearly completely original.

Celestion G10 Gold, Tungsol power tubes, grounded AC, original tolex, grillcloth and handle. A non-reverb Princeton offers great tone higher on the volume knob than a Reverb model, thanks to one less gain stage in the pre-amp section. This amp plays quite cleanly up the volume dial, and takes pedals really, really well. The Celestion G10 Gold is widely considered one of the best Princeton replacement speakers on the market.
