1964 Gibson B-25-12
This example is in stunning condition and is completely original. One would be hard-pressed to find a B-25-12 that presented better than this one. It’s a gorgeous guitar, with a faded sunburst top, high-gloss finish, and mid-60’s Gibson touches. The guitar has the thinner celluloid pickguard and steeper headstock angle of the pre-1965 guitars; Brazilian rosewood fingerboard and bridge, Kluson double-line tuners, and trapeze tailpiece. The neck measures 2” at the nut, and features a 24-3/4” scale and 14 fret neck joint. Factory black stringers along the sides by the heel of the neck.
The guitar is in near perfect condition and has been set-up in our shop. Playability is excellent, and the original frets show little wear. There is a repaired crack at the margin of the pickguard and fingerboard extension. No other repairs, cracks, or issues.
The original chipboard case is long gone, but the guitar comes with an attractive period hardshell case in its place.
