1964 Gibson SG Jr.

An early and wonderfully clean 1964 Gibson SG Jr, with full 1-11/16” nut width. It’s completely original, including all wiring, solder, frets, nut, bridge, and tuners. Original finish and plastic, as well as all mounting screws, control knobs, strap buttons, and pickguard. With almost no playwear to its frets and unfaded finish this Junior is about as fine an example as one is likely to find.

Excellent neck angle, action, and playability. Original P-90 reads 7.95k and the guitar weighs in at 5.9lbs. There are two chips in the pickguard, and the original tailpiece mounting studs have been replaced with a pair of TonePros locking studs. You’ll find the original parts in the case pocket.

Other-worldly tone, great wide/low C neck carve that plays nice and fast, and feathery light weight. Can’t think of too many guitars in this price-point that we’d want to play more right now.
