1966 Gretsch 6117 Double Anniversary

A Gretsch classic, this 6117 Double Anniversary features a pair of HiLo’Tron pickups, space control bridge, and a Bigsby tailpiece. It’s a full-depth hollow-body cutaway electric archtop with a clear and bright plugged-in tone, and is perfect for playing textured fills through your favourite pedals.

This example is completely original and in great shape, but is suffering from the typical binding ‘rot’ you’re likely to see on the great majority of Gretsch guitars from the late 1960s. It’s very nicely set-up and otherwise in perfect working order, with an excellent neck angle and very little playwear.

Low D neck carve with a fat 1-11/16” nut width and 24.9” scale. Maple neck and maple laminate body, sunburst finish, bound body and rosewood fingerboard, nickel and chrome hardware, and original gold Gretsch-branded pickguard.
