1967 Gibson B-45-12

Gibson’s B-45-12 is the company’s most iconic 12 string model. This beauty dates to 1967, and is a remarkably fine example in looks, tone, and playability. It’s been through our shop for a full set-up, two brace end repairs, and to have a small crack between the pickguard and fingerboard extension properly attended to. The guitar shows very little playwear to the frets and finish and is completely original. Neck angle and action are excellent, and playability is easy and fast. The tailpiece hanger has been repaired, which is the guitar’s only minor fault.

Spruce and mahogany body with adjustable bridge and trapeze tailpiece, and an attractive thin celluloid pickguard. Mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard, 2” nut and a scale of 24.6”. Original Kluson 6/strip tuners with original buttons, gold logo and pearl headstock inlays.
