1968 Fender Jaguar

Serial # 222470, pots dated 49th week of '65, neck date of May 15th 1968. A completely original and downright gorgeous Olympic White 1968 Fender Jaguar. Lacquer (not poly) finish with matching headstock; bound rosewood fingerboard with pearloid block markers, tortoise celluloid pickguard, F tuners, and lots of chrome!

The Jaguar was Fender's highest-end model upon its introduction in 1962. It featured strat-like single coil pickups with better shielding for less hum, a vibrato system with lock-out feature, string mute, sophisticated electronics, and a short 24" scale which found favor with the surf-music crowd.

The guitar shows light finish wear, and almost no fretwear. No modifications or repairs to its wire harness, no changed parts aside from a new trem-arm and socket (original parts are in the case pocket), and it's in perfect working order and nicely set-up. Mute is still intact, bridge cover is in the case pocket along with the original factory instruction booklet. All in all, it's a beautiful package, and a great sounding one.
