1970 Gibson SG Std Lefty

Here’s a rare bird – a left-handed Gibson SG Standard with Maestro Vibrola – in every way identical to the one Angus Young played throughout the 1970s with AC/DC… but in lefty!

A one-owner guitar, this SG is completely original but for one volume knob. It’s seen some use and shows dings and dents as one would expect. It’s just been through our repair shop and has had its neck very cleanly reset and cracks at the jack nearly invisibly repaired. The set-up is excellent, and the guitar plays easily. The original frets are level and low and play fairly cleanly all the way up the neck. Two tuner button posts are bent, but the original tuners work well.

Pots all dated 1970, Patent number pickups, Kluson double-ring tuners, pearloid fingerboard inlays. Vibrant Cherry finish, medium neck carve with nut width of 1-9/16”. 7.35 lbs.
