1973 Fender Music Master

Fender’s least expensive model, the Music Master, was marketed as a student guitar from its debut in 1956 and remained in production into the early 1980s. This example dates from 1973 and is completely original. With its 24” scale neck it’s an easy and fun guitar to play, and it’s single-coil neck pickup offers up some classic Fender tonal goodness.

Offset alder body with Olympic white finish that’s now well-yellowed, maple neck with curved rosewood fingerboard, large CBS era headstock with Fender F tuners. The nut measures 1-9/16”, frets are level and nicely dressed, and the guitar plays very well. Set up was just done here. 7lbs, 2oz.
