1974 Fender Telecaster

At a scant 7.25 lbs, this 1974 Telecaster is far lighter and significantly more resonant than most ’70s Fenders we’ve encountered. It’s a really fun guitar to play thanks to its liveliness and responsiveness, fast neck feel, and a pair of great sounding pickups. This example has newer frets and bone nut that were replaced in our shop two years back. It’s otherwise 100% original, with original solder throughout. Pots are dated 5th week of 1974 and the neck is dated the 39th week of ’74.

Original finish with some honest one-owner wear by the bridge and under your arm. Frets show no wear and play beautifully. Original tuners are in great shape, pickguard is clean, and the pickups are well balanced. The neck has some definition and the bridge pickup has cut and thickness. DC values are 7.1 and 6.1k

Neck has a low U feel, with a 1st fret thickness of .845” and 12th fret thickness of .895”. Nut measures 1-5/8”.

With original hardshell case.
