1983 Gibson Les Paul Standard

A Candy Apple Red Gibson Les Paul isn’t something you see every day! It’s a great looking guitar, with its aged cream and chrome hardware, pearloid fretboard inlays and metallic red lacquer.

The guitar is completely original apart from a recent pro-level refret and set-up. Pots date from 1979 and 1980, electronics are untouched, and all the hardware and finish is factory original. The neck appears to have been reset, as there is chipped finish around the permitter of the heel and a repaired crack on the back in the area of the neck’s tenon. Action and playability are excellent.

Original Patent Stamped pickups measure 7.4 and 7.5 k and are dated 1983. The nut width measures 1-21/32, and the neck depth is .80” at the 1st fret and .95” at the 12th. The guitar weighs 10.75 lbs.

With original ‘Chainsaw’ case.
