1988 Guild B-30-SB

A 18” wide and 6.5” deep the Jumbo-bodied Guild B30-SB is quite possibly the largest guitar-like thing we’ve ever held in our inventory. Big and beautiful, this bass throws out a whole lot of sound and is ridiculously fun to play. It’s surprisingly easy to get around on, thanks to its short 30.5” scale and very manageable C-shaped neck carve. The nut measures 1-5/8”, and the depth at the 1st fret is .855”.

Spruce top, mahogany back and sides, gloss lacquer finish, and white bindings. Mahogany neck with rosewood fretboard, rosewood split saddle bridge with internal pickup.

The bass is in very good condition and is well set up. The action is set at 5-9 64ths and playability is quite easy. The saddles are at their lowest adjustment on the bass strings, but the original bridge has never been cut down in thickness. There are no cracks or repairs, and finish wear is limited to a bit of pickwear on the top, some case-rash on the upper treble side, and a few dings and dents here or there.

With original hardshell case
