1999 Gibson Les Paul Deluxe 30th Anniversary

Gibson’s Les Paul Deluxe 30th Anniversary Limited Edition was released in 1999 in commemoration of that model’s 30th year. This version of the LP Deluxe has a Limited Edition decal on the back of the headstock, which differentiates it from other contemporary Deluxes. An exacting reproduction of the original ’69 LP Deluxe, this black and cream Les Paul features the same mini humbuckers and surrounds, heavy mahogany body, and 70’s vibe.

This example has just been set-up in our shop and plays very well. Frets show light wear, and the finish is in terrific shape. The tuners have been swapped out for Grover rotomatics (just like so many from the 70s!) and there are visible filled-in screw holes on the back of the headstock from the Kluson originals. The pickguard has a repaired crack at its point. Beyond these minor cosmetic flaws the guitar is in great shape and is otherwise original.

Medium C-shaped carve, 1-11/16” nut width, 24.75” scale, 10 lbs.

With original hardshell case
