2002 Ramirez 1a Traditional Cedar / Indian Rosewood

2002 Ramirez 1a Traditional Cedar / Indian Rosewood

A particularly exceptional 1a Traditional, this guitar has beautiful warmth and a vibrant tonal pallet along with the power and sensitivity we associate with a professional concert-grade Ramirez classical.

The 1a Traditional is built with red cedar and Indian rosewood. The sides feature an inner lamination of Cyprus which helps bring more warmth and complexity to the higher frequencies by transmitting the string energy to the guitar's back more effectively. The neck is built with ebony reinforcement and fingerboard, 650mm scale and a 52mm nutwidth.

This example is in nearly perfect condition and is without any repairs or issues. There are a few indentations on the top's finish and a small number of very minor dings here and there. The guitar has been with the same owner since it was purchased new in 2002, and has just been adjusted and restrung here at Folkway.
