2004 Marc Beneteau Walnut OM
Scalloped X bracing and a top that looks to be Engelmann spruce. Figured maple bindings accented by multi-layered purflings on the top, sides, and back. The rosette pulls in matching walnut, and is completed with rosewood and maple lines. Ebony fingerboard and bridge, bone nut and saddle, Gotoh pegs.
Crack free and in excellent playing order, this Beneteau appears to have had a neck reset in its past, and has had bolts (and abalone plugs) added to the bridge. It sports a passive undersaddle pickup, and has had a strap button added to the heel. There is light fretwear in the first position, and a little bit of playwear by the soundhole as is visible in the photos.
1-23/32” nut width, 2-3/16 string spread at the saddle, 25.4” scale. Low D neck carve.
With hardshell case
