2005 Michael Dunn Mystery Pacific
Padauk back and sides and Sitka spruce, Grande Bouche soundhole, internal soundbox construction. Soft cut-away, black bindings and padauk headstock overlay. 14 frets to the neck, floating bridge with integral Bigtone pickup. The neck has a traditional D-shaped carve with modern steel string sizing. The nut measures 44mm (in between 1-11/16 and 1-3/4”), the scale is 25”, and the fingerboard radius is nearly flat.
A loud and percussive guitar with plenty of punch, open and succinct bass response, and very full upper mids and trebles. It's bright and can cut through and is warm enough to cover rhythm duties as well without ever get lost in the mix. An elegant and powerful instrument in both design and tone.
In excellent condition and set up in shop. No fretwear or any finish flaws of note.
