2005 Paul Beard Model R

A very finely handcrafted square neck Dobro-style resonator built in a traditional style, with open soundwell construction, solid mahogany body, and curly maple bindings. An exceptional sounding instrument, with clear highs and a strong, balanced low end.

This example is in nearly perfect condition, with only a few minor dings to show of the last decade. It's been fitted with a Fishman Pro-Res pickup, but is otherwise unaltered.

25" scale, ebony fretboard with slotted diamond inlays, gloss sunburst finish. Bone nut, Gotoh tuning machines, chromed metal parts, Beard cone and spider, and Schaller straplock.
