2008 Gibson LP-295 Gold Top

Built as the April 2008 “Guitar of the Month”, the Gibson LP-295 features a standard Les Paul body and neck that’s dressed up with ES-295 appointments, a Bigsby B7, and a Nashville Tune-O-Matic with graphite saddles. Gibson produced 1000 of this model in total, and this is #237 of that limited run.

Gold-top Les Paul body with solid mahogany back and maple cap bound in cream. Mahogany neck with bound rosewood fretboard and pearl split parallelogram markers. Bound headstock with pearl logo and crown. Classic 57 and 57+ pickups, standard wiring. Custom hand-made ES-295 style pickguard.

The guitar is in near-mint condition and shows very little to no wear to its frets and finish. Set-up here with 10-46 strings. There are tiny stress fractures in the pickguard’s acrylic around the mounting screws, but no other flaws of note.

Rounded D neck with 1-11/16” nut and .808” depth at the 1st fret. 24.75” scale, 8lbs 14oz. Pickup DC values are 7.7k and 7.9K.
